Karin does not like having her picture taken. Find a photo of her, and she’ll have her eyes closed, she’s squinting, her mouth agape, or she’s striking an otherwise embarrassing pose. Whenever she is not evading that distorting glass eye, she can be found reading or writing her favourite genre: crossover, speculative science fiction. Her preferred settings are the beautiful Garden of England (where she lives) and Newfoundland (Canada, 3,800 kilometers from her home). She likes to place her diverse characters in challenging, near impossible situations. So far, however, she’s avoided exposing them to that most dire of circumstance – in front of a camera lens.

Karin lives in Edenbridge, a town less than 30 miles from central London, in the beautiful Eden Valley in the Garden of England. Surrounded by castles, historic houses and gardens.
